Petanda Mimpi Bogel

Baru pulang dari kuliah TG Haron Din. Beliau membuka kuliah degan satu pertanyaan. Adakah anda semua pernah bermimpi melihat diri anda berbogel? Semua hadirin tersentak. TG meminta siapa yang pernah bermimpi mengangkat tangan. Tiada seorang pun angkat. TG beristighfar. TG menyambung dgn satu kisah di mana kisah itu diambil dari majalah arab.

Dalam majalah itu menceritakan satu wawancara dengan Imam Masjidil Haram Sheikh Sudais. Dalam wawancara itu, ada sesi soal jawab melalui telefon. Satu panggilan diterima. Pemanggil itu bertanya soalan tentang tafsir mimpi. Sheikh kata beliau tak pandai ilmu tafsir mimpi, tapi hanya sebahagian sahaja beliau tahu.

Pemanggil itu menceritakan mimpinya, dalam mimpinya dia melihat seorang lelaki sedang bertawaf dalam keadaan bogel tanpa ada perasaan malu.

Sheikh menjawab : Masyaallah..masyaallah… Tafsir mimpi ini saya tahu, orang itu mendapat keampunan dari Allah dan segala amalan dia diterima. Umpama anak yg baru dilahirkan tanpa sebarang dosa.

Pemanggil itu bertanya: Bolehkah saya menceritakan khabar baik ini kepada lelaki yang saya nampak beliau dalam mimpi saya?

Sheikh menjawab: Menjadi satu kewajipan anda memberi khabar gembira ini kepada lelaki itu.

Lantas pemanggil itu berkata: Lelaki itu adalah Tuan Sheikh sendiri.

Sheikh Sudais terkejut dan menangis sehingga program wawancara tersebut terpaksa dibatalkan..

Alangkah ruginya kita dan alangkah beruntungnya manusia itu..

Mendapat keampunan dari Allah dan segala amalan diterima..

Sedang amalan kita..termasuk perjuangan kita ini banyak bercampur dengan dosa, malas, banyak alasan dan bermacam lagi.

When Muslims retaliate and show you how you treat us:
"Terrorism?"

It seems like the word
"Terrorism" is only
reserved for Muslims.

Metal Fucking Rats With Heart Shaped Tail, 2007

Not all of Noble and Webster's work uses low grade materials drawn from the rubbish dump or the scrap yard – like this welded scrap metal piece of rat love. No, some of it borrows from the aesthetics of the shopping mall or the Las Vegas light show, with flashing displays and gaudy neon inspired by some of the most crass that culture has to offer. As far as the artists are concerned, it's all worth recycling.

Dirty White Trash (With Gulls), 1998

The photo above shows White Trash (With Gulls), one of Webster and Noble's earliest trash-based pieces. Six months' worth of household waste plus a pair of dead seagulls comprise the heap of refuse. It's no accident that it took the couple a further six months to make the piece, during which time they were eating and consuming – as you do. On the wall, the shadow figure self-portraits of the artists take a break with a cigarette and a glass of wine

Real Life is Rubbish, 2002

British-born and -based artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster skilfully skirt the boundaries between beauty and the shadowier aspects of humanity, playing with our perceptions as well as our notions of taste. Many of their most notable pieces are made from piles of rubbish, with light projected against them to create a shadow image entirely different to that seen when looking directly at the deliberately disguised pile.

The traditional setup of school classrooms—straight rows of desks with accompanying chairs—doesn't do much to foster creativity or collaboration. Many experts have proposed redesigning classroom furniture, but a Swedish school system wants to take things a step further. Vittra, which operates 30 schools in Sweden, is seeking to ensure learning takes place everywhere on campus by eliminating classrooms altogether.

The newest Vittra school, Telefonplan, opened its doors last August. Designed by architecture firm Rosan Bosch, the Stockholm-area campus seems more like a creative space you'd find at Google or Pixar than a school at all. Students can work independently on their laptops while lounging on one of the "sitting islands" in the photo above. If they need to collaborate with their peers on a project, they can take advantage of spaces like "the village"—a tiny house for group work—or the more open "organic conversation furniture" pictured below
